Basketball

Dear parents,

 

        Please send in your athletic forms for basketball if you have not done so already. I need to have a correct count of all grades. I am looking to enter into other schools tournaments and need this information ASAP. If you are interested in coaching please send me an e-mail, we will be interview all that are interested in a few weeks. If you have already e-mailed me on coaching. I have your request already you do not need to send it again.

 

       Basketball practices for grades third to eighth will start at the end of October, I will know more about what time and day you have practices when the rosters are done.

Instuctional soccer for pre K and K

Pre K and K at St Gabriel

Format will include the teaching of the basic skills of soccer and the playing of skill based games during the one-hour sessions.

You will receive a size 3 soccer ball. Sessions will be on Mondays from 3:45pm - 4:45pm.

Instruction starts in Sept, for 6 Mondays, the fee is $65, checks made payable to St Gabriel, “no cash”.

Please bring payment to the main office.

The instruction will be with a professorial soccer coach with 20 plus years experience working with all ages, four to 20 years of age.

The coach is certified for youth sports in Connecticut. The main purpose is to have fun and learn in a caring way.

So come on and kick it

Dear Cross Country parents,
             We have had  interest in the cross county program. Grades four to six will be JV and grades seven and eighth Varsity. 
             JV will run a 1.5 miles course and Varsity a 2.5 course. Practice will be once or twice a week and meets would be about every other week. Practice will be across from our school at West shore. We will have a schedule for our runners soon, I will also be in contact for the start date of our practices.
             We will run two courses one at Eisenhower park and one at a beach course in Milford. We have been invited to a Wilton meet in Mid October at Our Lady of Fatima. We will use our gym uniforms to start. There will be a cost of $35.00 for each runner. When you send your payment in please write on your check that it's for cross country.
             Also we will offer this program in the spring also, when Bball ends.
