Stewarton Reach Final
The team of Karina Bowlby, Alex Cochrane, Johnny Drummond-Murray, James Manclark and Jose Von Potobsky took part in the Perth tournament this weekend and did the club proud by reaching the final against stiff opposition.

Stewarton came up against old adversaries Dalmahoy in the final. Dalmahoy fielded a much stronger team than Stewarton in the tournament and an easy win looked to be on the cards. Dalmahoy started strongly scoring the first goal. The second goal for Dalmahoy came on the bell after a shot by Dalmahoy that looked to be going over the back line was kept in by Stewarton leaving Dalmahoy to grab the opportunity of a tap between the posts.

The second chukka, in this two chukka match, saw Stewarton retain much of the possession and opportunities to score were missed. The improved defence of Stewarton thwarted Dalmahoys attack and they were unable to score again but their earlier goals led them to win 2-0.
