Welcome to the website of Stewarton Polo Club, Scotland's fastest growing Polo Club. Stewarton is an HPA afilliated club. The club is situated just 15 minutes south of Glasgow and is very easy to get to by road and rail.
Enjoy the sport of Kings in the beautiful surroundings of Stewarton Polo Club. The club is very friendly and relaxed and we welcome both experienced players and beginners alike. You do not need to have your own ponies to play as we have some excellent ponies to hire which suit all abilities.
Beginners lessons and courses are held regualarly and are the ideal way to get started at this wonderful sport. We are also able to teach people to play polo who have never ridden before.
Stewarton has a strong women's section which regularly take part in tournaments in England. Women's tournaments are held regularly at the club. We also have the only Junior Academy in Scotland which teaches kids from 8 years old upwards.
Livery is also available for both polo and non-polo horses.
For players wanting to visit from further afield, Stewarton rail station is just a five and a half hour train ride from London. International airports at Glasgow and Prestwick are also, within a thirty minute drive. We can recommend some excellent local hotels to make your stay in Scotland more enjoyable.
