June 7th & 8th (Lax Max) tournament information
As of today, it looks like the first game in the Lax Max tournament for all 3 of our teams will be late Saturday morning or early afternoon. As such, parents will be able to drive the players to Baltimore on Saturday morning. Due to graduations at many local high schools/colleges in the Baltimore area, and the Lax Max tournament, which has over 300 teams playing, hotel rooms are at a premium. The U-18 A team will be staying at the Hampton Inn on York Rd. in Cockeysville, MD. We have 20 rooms reserved. 5 are doubles. The remaining 15 are king rooms with a queen sized pull out sofa. Call 410-527-1500. Tell them you are from the Lehigh Valley Steel Lacrosse Club. Room rate is $99.00. You will need to guarantee the room with a credit card. You must call by Monday at midnight, otherwise the rooms will be released. The U-16 and U-18 B teams will be staying at the Ramada Inn on York Rd. in Cockeysville, MD. We have reserved 30 double rooms. Call 410-667-4900. Tell them you are with the Dan Dolphin group. Rate is $70.00 for the evening. You will need to guarantee the room with a credit card. You must call by Monday at midnight, otherwise the rooms will be released. There is construction work on I-78 out towards Harrisburg which may result in traffic delays. I would recommend taking Rt. 222 south to Rt. 30 west to I-83 South into the Baltimore area. The hotels are about 2 miles from one another. Both are approximately one mile off of I-83. Tournament schedule should be posted Later today or Monday.
