Monday, April 30
Steel Lake LL will hold tryouts for the 9/10 year old All Star team at the SKC Ball Fields on Saturday, 6/2/2012 @ 9:00am. All players league age 9 or 10 that were in the AAA or Majors divisions for 2012, are eligible to tryout for the 2012 9/10 All Star Team.
All players must attend the tryouts in order to be selected for the 9/10 year old All Star team. SLLL Player Agents will be requiring all players and parents to complete a commitment letter to ensure everyone is aware of the requirements and commitments of the All Star team.
Managers will meet at the conclusion of the tryouts with the Steel Lake Player Agents, and the team will be selected. All players that have made this team will be notified by the manager of the All Star team on Saturday June 2nd.
Sunday, April 29
The Annual Steel Lake Little League Night at the Tacoma Rainiers will be held Sunday, June 3rd at 1:35pm and Cheney Stadium. A reserved seat ticket only cost $15.00 per ticket. Included in this ticket is a ballpark meal (hot dog, chips, and a drink.) All Steel Lake Little League teams in uniform will parade around the infield prior to the start of the game. The player that sells the most tickets will throw out the FIRST PITCH at the game!!!
Tickets need to be turned in NO LATER THAN Monday, May 21st. For more information regarding drop off times, please contact your player's coach.
