Randolph-Henry and Charlotte County, Va.
Randolph-Henry High School is located in Charlotte County Virginia, which is in the south central part of the state near North Carolina. Charlotte Co. is located in an area between the cities of South Boston, Appomattox and Farmville. R-H was built in 1939 and was one of the first consolidated schools of its kind in Virginia. The school houses grades nine through twelve and has a enrollment of about 650 students.
R-H belongs to the Group A James River District and belongs to Region B. For football purposes the school is designated as Division 2.
The school name is derived from two of Virginia's most famous governors Patrick Henry and John Randolph. Randolph and Henry participated in a debate in Charlotte Courthouse and our school name reflects that event. Patrick Henry is buried at Red Hill in Charlotte Co.
Randolph-Henry's administrative staff includes -Michael Wills-Principal, Shep Critzer & Robbie Mason Assistant Principals. All three principals serve at the schools Athletic Directors.
