ESA Stars 90 Green Parent Expectations

ESA Stars 90 Green "Parents Expectations and Responsibilities"

-Make sure the player arrives at practices and games on time.
-Make arrangements and inform the coach and/or manager if player is going to be late or absent. If not, this will affect your daughters playing time.
-Be there at the appointed time before games, if not, this will affect your daughters playing time. Plan ahead.
-Ensure the player is properly equipped with the required gear.
-Stay at practice and games whenever possible and support your player and the team.
-Encourage your child and team but do not insult or discourage the opposition. -Positive encouragement highly encouraged!!!
-Be enthusiastic, yet not critical.
-Acknowledge the opposition's good plays.
-Support, and not criticize, the referee.
-Support, and not criticize, the coach.
-Be positive and not let winning and losing change your attitude. It's great to win, but it's about development for the future. Each year at this age brings different stages and levels of development. Good teams may become bad and bad teams become good. Please keep this in the back of your mind.
-Do not discuss other players with or in front of your daughter(s) unless it is to say positive things. This behavior is bad leadership and causes distrust within the team ranks (parents and players). We are here to build a team/club that will last throughout the years.
-Feel free to contact me regarding your daughters play. I will talk until the cows come home about your daughter, the second the conversation switches to another player or team tactics, I will shut the conversation down then and there. Please respect this.
