We Are the Champions
MARK ROYALL (WRESTLING)
1986-87 - Mark won the 1A/2A Championship in the 160lb class in wrestling. Mark (41-0) was voted as Most Outstanding Wrestler in the tournament. He won 107 matches in his 4 years at Starmount.
DAVID OLIVER (WRESTLING)
1986-87 - David won the 1A/2A Championship in the 119lb class in wrestling and had a record 34-1.
ARCHIE WOOD (WRESTLING)
1988-89 - Archie won the 1A/2A Championship in the Heavyweight class in wrestling.

RODNEY BATES (WRESTLING)
1995-96 - Rodney won the 1A/2A Championship in the 189lb class in wrestling.

1998 - The Starmount Ram football team won the NCHSAA State 1A Football Championship over North Edgecombe by a score of 22-20.
TERRI MATTHEWS (WOMEN'S TRACK)
1999 & 2000- Terri Matthews won the NCHSAA 1A State Pole Vault Championship 2 years straight.
BRYAN LASHLEY (MEN'S TRACK)
1999 - Bryan Lashley won the NCHSS 1A State Pole Vault Championship.
1999 LADY RAMS (WOMEN'S TRACK)
1999 - The Lady Ram 4X400 relay team won the 1A State Championship in that event. The team consisted of Emily Adams, Emily Shore, Wendy Welborn, and Rose Oliver.
SUSAN SHORE (WOMEN'S TRACK)
2001 & 2003 - Susan Shore won the NCHSAA 1A State Pole Vault Championship 2 times in her career.
2003 LADY RAMS (VOLLEYBALL)
2003 - The Starmount Lady Rams won the State 1A Volleyball Championship over the Topsail Lady Pirates. The Lady Rams finished the season wirh a record of 29-2.

2004 - The Starmount Lady Rams won the State 1A Volleyball Championship over the Farmville Central Lady Jaguars. The Lady Rams finished the season wirh a record of 30-2.

2005 - Shea Snow won the 2005 State 1A Pole Vault Championship. She set a new state record for the women's pole vault.

2005 - Josh was the Hurdles Champion

JULIANA PRIM (SWIMMING)
In the 2007 NCHSAA Swimming Championships, Juliana Prim won a state title in the 100 Yard Butterfly with a time of 56.94.

In the 2008 NCHSAA Swimming Championships, Juliana Prim won the state titles in 50 Yard Freestyle with a time of 24.72 and 100 Yard Butterfly with a time of 57.28.
Sunday, July 19
JULIANA PRIM (SWIMMING)
2009 - Juliana won the the 2A State Championship in the 100-yard Butterfly. Her time was 57.51.

2009 - Antonio won the 2A State Championship in the Long Jump with a jump of 22 feet 9.5 inches.
