The Stark County Girls Softball Association was started in 1980.  It has been 29 years plus and the Association is still growing strong.  In 2009 we grew to 22 charters.  The newest member joining us is New Philadelphia.  The Association has a Summer League with a Tournament Playoff to end the season.  There are 4 different age groups ( 10U, 12U, 14U, and 18U ).  Coaches or parents are welcome to come to our associations meetings, which are held on every 4th Sunday of the month at 7 pm at the Greentown Athletic Club on Cleveland Ave NW.  Also offered through the association are free ASA Umpiring classes in the Spring. 

 In 2008, we lost a very special person in our Association, Terry L. Murphy.  In his honor, the Association has started the Terry L. Murphy Scholarship Award.  For guidelines, please look under the Terry L. Murphy Scholarship Award link.  This will list the rules/procedures and application form.
