2012 Parent/Athlete Meeting & Registration For Interested 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th & 8th Graders Wednesday, May 30th 7:30 Parish Hall What’s New, Q&A, Register, Staff Introductions Ever had any questions regarding the St Andrew Football program? Want to learn more about how unique this sport is to the definition of a team? Or ever have any questions about the game itself and the physical elements of the sport? Come join us in the parish hall and meet your 2012 coaching staff to ask questions about youth football and learn about our strong tradition at St. Andrews. Also attending the meeting, and new for the 2012 season, will be our new team trainer and team physician. This will provide our program with a renewed sense of focus on health, safety and prevention for this upcoming season. There is no obligation to register but if you or your child has ever had any questions, come and learn more about the sport, our team & the program. With your input we’ll also discuss changes and recommendations we’d like to take the Diocese of Columbus Recreation Association. BASKETBALL OFFENSIVE SKILL INSTRUCTION SUMMER/FALL 2012 WHAT: Private basketball offensive skill work with former Ohio Wesleyan University starting point guard and current Bishop Watterson High School head boys freshmen coach Casey Teeters. FALL SPORTS SIGN-UPS WILL OPEN for NEXT SCHOOL YEAR, 2012-13, on MAY 7th. In accordance with the Diocese eligibility rules, sports participation is open only to St. Andrew parishioners and those who attend PSR at St. Andrew. Open: May 7th Closed: July 31st (a $50 late fee applies after this time and students will be placed on a "wait list" pending the commissioner's approval) Fall sports registration will be held ONLINE ONLY at http://www.standrewsports-register.com with the exception of: Cheerleading - To sign-up please call Michelle Kutlu at 799-0473 or e-mail at mlkutlu@columbus.rr.com (5th - 6th and 7th - 8th grades). Registration closes July 1st. All grades still needs a coordinator/adviser and is currently looking for volunteers. Field Hockey - Please call Kathi Theado at 457-3754. Online Registration - Your registration must be completed online in order to track rosters and provide accurate contact info to commissioners and coaches. No Paypal account required. 3. Sign & Deliver Parent & Medical Consent Forms - We still need a hard copy of your consent forms with your signature. By signing up online, your Parent & Medical consent forms can be downloaded with each athlete's information pre-populated on the forms. Just review the form for accuracy, print, sign, and deliver the forms to St. Andrew Parish Office. Consent forms are required BEFORE your child can participate in any sports activity, practice or game. Practices may start well before the sports season, so PLEASE DELIVER THESE FORMS PROMPTLY AFTER YOUR REGISTRATION to ATTN: Sports Forms, St. Andrew Athletic Board, 1899 McCoy Rd., Columbus, OH 43220.
