ST. ALBANS LITTLE LEAGUE BASEBALL WON ALL 3 2008 DISTRICT III CHAMPIONSHIPS
2009 REGISTRATIONS HAVE BEGUN
BASEBALL AND SOFTBALL SEASON IS JUST AROUND THE CORNER AND REGISTRATIONS FOR THE 2009 SEASON HAVE BEGUN, AS WELL AS SIGN UPS FOR BOTH BASEBALL AND SOFTBALL CLINICS WHICH WILL BE HELD AT THE ST. ALBANS TOWN EDUCATIONAL CENTER.
OUR NEXT REGISTRATION DATES ARE:
SATURDAY FEBRUARY 7th AT CITY HALL FROM 5:00 - 7:00.
SUNDAY FEBRUARY 15th AT SATEC FROM 12:00 - 5:00.
SUNDAY MARCH 1st AT SATEC FROM 12:00 - 5:00.

10 - 12 |
Strong competition. Player must attend an evaluation to assess skills. While fundamental skills are still stressed, advanced skills are taught and developed. Game pace is fast. Teams play against competition from Swanton and other league teams. Teams play for positioning in post season. Mandatory play is enforced. There will be 3 games played each week in order to develop more pitchers. 11 & 12 year olds in this division may play on the post season 11-12 year old All-Star team. 10 year olds in this division may play on the 9-10 year old All-Star team. |

MINORS AAA |
7 - 11 |
The beginning of competitive play. Players must go through an evaluation to determine skill level. This is also the first level of kid pitch. Coaches may only coach from the dug out. Fundamental skills are again stressed, but games move at a faster pace. Teams play against competition from Swanton and other league teams. Teams play for positioning in post season. 9 & 10 year olds may play on the post season 9-10 year old All - Star team. |

6 - 10 |
Basic skills are refined and stressed. Still instructional. At this level players are taught to hit machine pitched balls. Players are taught game basics and prepare to play at a faster pace. Stealing is also introduced. Mandatory play is enforced. There is no post season play. |

Basic skills are refined and stressed. Still instructional. At this level players are taught to hit soft toss and then coach pitch balls. Players are taught game basics and prepare to play at a faster pace. Mandatory play i s enforced. There is no post season play. |

* A childs age is determined by the age he/she will be on April 30th. Children league age 7 may participate in Minor League, but they are required to attend a player evaluation, and they are not guaranteed a position on a Minor League team. Any 6 year old that played T Ball in prior year is encouraged to play Coaches Pitch this year. |
