Softball - Seniors

Tee Ball
T-Ball is pure instructional baseball, where basic fundamentals and techniques are taught. This is not intended to be a competitive league. All players bat every inning, score is not kept. There is no post season play.

Minor A League
Basic skills are refined and stressed. Still instructional (coaches on the field). At this level players are taught to hit pitched balls after a few weeks of soft toss(Only coaches pitch). Players are taught game basics and prepare to play at a faster pace. Mandatory play is enforced. There is no post season play.

Minor AAA League
The beginning of competitive play. Players must go through an evaluation to determine skill level. This is also the first level of kid pitch. Coaches may only coach from the dug out. Fundamental skills are again stressed, but games move at a faster pace. Teams play against competition from Swanton and other league teams. Teams play for positioning in post season. 9 & 10 year olds may play on the post season 9-10 year old All - Star team.

Major League
Strong competition. Player must attend an evaluation to assess skills. While fundamental skills are still stressed, advanced skills are taught and developed. Game pace is fast. Teams play against competition from Swanton and other league teams. Teams play for positioning in post season. Mandatory play is enforced.   There will be 3 games played each week in order to develop more pitchers. 11 & 12 year olds in this division may play on the post season 11-12 year old All-Star team. 10 year olds in this division may play on the 9-10 year old All-Star team.
