The Silver Springs Shores Cricket and Social Club was founded September 7th, 1988 by a group of West Indian expatriates, to promote the game of cricket in North Central Florida.
We play only friendly games against teams from Jacksonville, New York, Orlando, Sarasota, Tallahassee, Tampa, Miami, England, Palm Bay, Valdosta, Atlanta, Daytona Beach, Fort Myers, St. Petersburg, Miramar,Gainesville and Largo among others. Since we own our field, we carefully screen our opponents in order to maintain a family atmosphere.
Over the years our membership comprised of former and present nationals of Jamaica, England, Guyana, Trinidad, Barbados, Antigua, United States, India, South Africa, New Zealand, Pakistan, Australia, Dominica, St. Vincent and St. Kitts.
Not only do we play cricket but also offer a full calendar of social events. If you share our goals, we welcome new members throughout the year.
