Home Game Schedule
For home games, all requests need to go through the Field Coordinator (Robin Thurston) at RobinMHC@yahoo.com, who will coordinate with Community Services.  Please do not go directly to Community Services for field space, as this will only delay your request.  Requests that don't have a firm time or firm opponent will be held for a short period of time but not scheduled.
The home games schedules will be posted when they are released. 

SSC Coach's Handbook
There are three books that all head coaches should have.
1) Coaching Binder.  Not available online.  See Pete McHugh or Gil Aguirre for a copy, which will be provided at the mandatory coaches clinics in 2008.
2) SSC Coach's Handbook.  This covers all the administrative items associated with the club, and should help new coaches understand the processes needed for a smooth season.  This is available online, and version 1.4 is the current draft level for 2007 season.
3) Soccer Maine handbooks are available at www.soccermaine.com.     

Coaching Certification
Soccer Maine controls the class schedules and dates for all certification training.  Our coaches are expected to comply with the Soccer Maine recommendations.  All head coaches must complete the prescribed education before the appropriate festivals or district playoffs.  Without an appropriate license, coaches may be banned from sidelines and teams forfeited from competition.

Coaching Education Courses were held in July in Saco.  If you did not complete, please continue to check the Soccer Maine website for up-coming courses.
