Eligibility
Any resident of Scarborough that will be at least eight years old and born between August 1, 1999 and October 15, 2004(and in the 3rd grade) is eligible to register to try out..  Players not from Scarborough need to meet the strict Soccer Maine eligibility requirements.  Please contact the SSC Registrar if you are not from Scarborough but interested in playing for the SSC.

Players who are too young or too old are ineligible by Soccer Maine and club rules.  No exceptions please.

Photocopy of Birth Certificate
All new players need to bring a photocopy of your birth certificate for proof of age.  This copy must be kept on file by the SSC to be in compliance with Soccer Maine rules, so please make sure you bring a photocopy and not the original birth certificate.



Eligibility Waiver Form
If you are not a resident in the town of Scarborough, but wish to play for the Scarborough Soccer Club, then you will need to fill out an Eligibility Waiver Form.  This form is only required if you are not a resident of Scarborough.  Please download and print the form by clicking the link above, or you may find the form under the Handout section of the web site and selecting Registration Forms at the bottom of the page.  Please contact the SSC Registrar for more information on how to complete this form.  Depending upon your town or city of residence, additional signatures may be required.  Please note, it is Scarborough Soccer Club and Soccer Maine policy to only accept players from outside of Scarborough when no opportunity to play travel soccer in your home town exists.  No exceptions to this policy can or will be made.
