The times for the March 13th Scheduling Meeting at the Holiday Inn Belden Village, North Canton are listed below for each age group.
9:00 am - 13 year old teams
11:15 am - 14 year old teams
1:15 pm - 12 year old and 10 year old teams
3:30 pm - 11 year old teams
3:45 pm - 9 year old and 8 year old teams

We are in need of 1-2 more 8U Coach pitch teams for the upcoming season. Teams can comprise of players that play in a closed recreation league and then play with their SSBL team on weekends. Expect a 10-12 game schedule. Let us know if you or someone you know is interested.

Ohio XStreme Baseball Academy will be hosting a Nations Baseball State Qualifier for 9u, 10u, and 11u on Friday, April 30th thru Sunday, May 2nd, 2010. All games will be held at JEDD Park Baseball Complex in Akron (Springfield), OH. This complex features 3 fields with 225 foot fences, full concession stand, permanent bathrooms, convenient and free parking, and on-site field crews.
Summary:
• 3 Game Minimum
• Semi Finals and Finals
• Awards for 1st and 2nd Place Teams in Each Age Group
• $100 Cash Prize for each 1st Place Team

Wooster Golden Gloves Baseball Club will host a local tournament May 14-16 in the Wooster area. This tournament will be for 11U,12U, 13U & 14U teams. The 11 and 12U tournament will play at Woosters Schellin Park and the College of Wooster softball field. The 13 and 14U games will be played at National City Complex. This will be a pool play tournament (3 game guarantee) with top team(s) from each pool advancing to championship round. Team and individual awards to top two teams in each age group.

The Johnny Appleseed Baseball Club (JABC) will be hosting the Wood Bat Classic Tournament, starting Friday, June 11th, and ending Sunday, June 13th, 2010. Each team will be guaranteed three games (weather permitting). The champion and runners up will both receive awards. The tournament will be held on Orrville and Wooster, Ohio baseball fields. All fields are 60’/90’ fields with grass infields. Each game will have two umpires. The tournament may host evening games under the lights. Concessions will be available at the Wooster fields. This is an all wood bat tournament, no metal or composite bats are allowed. The entry fee for the tournament is $400.
