Welcome to Scripps Ranch Fastpitch Softball!
FIELDS ARE OPEN!! No further updates on this unless the weather changes! The Scripps Ranch High School Clinic for our girls ages 5-12 has been rescheduled (again!) to Sunday, March 21, 2010, from 1pm-4pm at Cypress Canyon Park. This is to avoid a conflict with the catchers clinic in the morning. If you haven't registered yet, there is still time! Just click on the Clinics link on the left and download/print the form. The girls love this clinic! It is also a fundraiser for our high school girls, most of whom came through our league.
Positive Coaching Alliance Workshop for Parents! You should have received an email about this unique workshop happening on Friday, April 9th. Please click on the Clinics link on the left for more details. Please RSVP to president@srsoftball.org so we have enough workshop materials ordered for those attending. Location: New EBS Multipurpose Room, 6:45-8:45pm. Tuesday, March 16

Fun Off the Field
We have allot going on around town as we kick off the season. Take a look and make time to go. First, please find the flyer for the annual Girls Softball Night at the Padres event below. This is a great event for families or teams, so please take a moment to review the information. Second, Scripps Ranch’s own Rachel Brown will be coming to town with her Harvard softball team to play against the SDSU Aztecs on March 20, 2010 at 2:00p. Rachel would love to see a large contingent from the league that she grew up in, out to cheer her on!!! Good Luck Rachel! Aztec softball tickets can be purchased in advance at the special discounted group rate of $4 per ticket when you purchase 10 or more tickets to an Aztec home game at the Aztec Softball Stadium, adjacent to Tony Gwynn Stadium (seating is General Admission). Purchase a group of 10 or more for your youth (14 and under) softball team and join the Aztecs for a post-game poster signing (subject to availability). Please call (619) 594-8392 to purchase tickets or for info regarding fundraising opportunities for your group. FIELD CONDITION'S
If ever field closed signs are on the fields they are closed! Please subscribe to the SRSAfields user group above to recieve email notification every time the field status changes. Alternatively, check the league website before going to the fields, we try and post closures in a timely fashion. You may call the Rec center 538-8085 if you get to the fields and they appear good and signs are up. But, the bottom line, signs up, field closed. Those playing at Community, we don't have drag equipment there, parents, please take a rake and work the field before your game.
