PICTURE DAY & OPENING CEREMONIES HAVE CHANGED AGAIN
WHEN:  SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 20TH
TIME:  1:00PM-4:00PM
WHERE: THE SOCCER FIELDS
Team and Individual Pictures will be taken on Sunday , September 20th beginning at 1pm.   Coaches have the picture package ordering forms and have been emailed and mailed new picture schedules.   SPYSA will also be selling picture buttons which are not included in the picture package prices. The cost of the buttons are 1 button for $5  and 2 buttons for $7.  Buttons should be available by September 26th.
Opening Day Ceremony will run concurrently with picture taking.   Come by the SPYSA newly updated concession building and field areas for a meet and greet with Board Members.   Refreshments will be served and the drawing for the first 100 hundred players registered to win the MP3 player will be awarded.
OUR FIRST GAME WILL GO ON AS SCHEDULED: SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 19TH

 Registration News - A total of 257 players joined the SPYSA for the 2009 Season.   We are looking forward to a wonderful season! 

The following players were the first 100 players to register and will be entered into a drawing for an MP3 device which will be awarded on Opening Ceremonies - Saturday September 12 2009 - Refreshments will be served - Don't miss out!

San Patricio Youth Soccer Association Awarded $20,000 from City of Sinton

A Message from the Board. 

Parents and Players.   Some of you may have read or heard about the grant money awarded SPYSA back in late July for improvements and upgrades.   The City of Sinton thru its alloted grant monies awarded SPYSA $20, 000.    The core request behind our grant proposal was improvements and upgrades to the fields, the concession stand, playing equipment, and business operations of the Association.    As you make your way onto and around the fields you may notice some of these improvements.    One the things you will notice as you approach the concession building is a sign designating the field as the Home of the San Patricio Youth Soccer Assocation - what an awesome sight!   Additionally, there has been 6 signs posted  around the parking areas designated as SPYSA parking.   The fields have had a tremendous improvement in green growing grass (yes green grass) thanks to the repairs made to the irrigation system.    And soon everyone will notice the expanded concession menu that will be allowed as the installation of mandated equipment for food handling permits is underway.    We are also working towards purchasing additional bleachers for use by guest during games.    Please let us know what you think of the improvements.
