Welcome to the SPRINGWOOD SOFTBALL CLUB website!
Winter season has already commenced for 2012. Season started in April and goes through to late August at Wynnum. Under 17 and U19 rep to start up again shortly - stay tuned for more info (nominations closed 21st April)

Springwood Softball Club is affliated with Wynnum Softball Assn (WSA) in winter at Elanora Park, Granada Street WYNNUM NORTH. ALL trainings are at our own grounds, Underwood Park, Rochedale.
The Logan area is one of the fastest growing in Sth East QLD and with many Springwood players playing in the State Titles wins in the several age divisions. The most current our U17's winning State Titles in the U17's September 2011. Springwood Players playing in the Wynuum comp - Laura Coulter and Sarah Ryder are both members of the recently named QLD 2012 U17 team.
Junior Development
Our 2012 Junior Club Development team is off to the USA in June/July 2012 to play in two tournaments. First one in Denver, Colorado and 2nd one in Omaha, Nebraska.
With club tours also taking place in 1994, 1996, 1998, 2006, 2008 and 2010, this trip in 2012 sees players from Mt Isa, Mackay and Canberra join our club players, and will be hugely beneficial for our club members and coaches.
Head Coach, Tracie (TEK) Kemp organises these trips every two years for the club and can be contacted on the club's email for more information if interested. Many of these tour members gain valuable expereience from the higher standard in the USA and bring that back to assist with State Titles and also Nationals. Many of the members of the 2008 and 2010 are still current members of SSC and have gained some very valuable experience from the many games played. Two tournaments were also played in 2010 in Colorado and Nebraska, against some very highly ranked opponents from all over the USA and Canada.
Club Mission Statement
The mission statement of the Springwood Softball Club Inc is to work in partnership with the citizens of the Springwood, Logan City and surrounding areas in providing sporting, recreational and enrichment programs for the purpose of improving the quality of life for our youth and their families.
