The Texas Hawks Gold organization is the longest running select softball organization in the Houston area, demonstrating year over year the ability to help athletes achieve their goal of playing at the collegiate level
As part of the Hawks organization we will continue to support and maintain our affiliation with Spring Area Youth Softball (SAYS) at Bayer Park.
12U Texas Hawks
12U Texas Hawks (Spring Sting 98) will be having open tryouts to add to our solid core of players. We have had a successful 1st year at 12u and are looking for athletes to help us take the next step. We are looking for dedicated players/parents that believe in a team concept and are willing to put the work in to be successful.
We plan to play 6 - 8 tournaments in the fall to include the Ronald McDonald and Spring Christmas Classic.

We are a second year 12U team in the Spring area, affiliated with S.A.Y.S. and utilizing the S.A.Y.S. Bayer Park fields. We have had a very solid first year 12U Spring/Summer tournament season. Our team (players, coaches and parents) are built around a family atmosphere. Our girls learn to compete at the highest level and learn to repsect every aspect of the game. Our Goals are to compete at the highest level possible and challenge our players by entering the strongest tournaments throughout Texas. After a successful spring/summer 2010 12U season placing 7th in USFA Nationals and 7th in ASA Southern Nationals. During the 2010 spring/summer season we stayed local as we develop a young team comprised of '98 and '99 b-days. As a youthful first year 12U team we worked hard to develop players and keep the atmosphere positive and fair all the while demanding the best of each individual. Strength and conditioning will be foremost in our development plan and practices will be fast paced, structured, fun and demanding on the athlete. Positions are earned and lost based on effort and attitude. Players must have a great attitude and good work ethic. Our coaching staff is equally dedicated to every player on the team.
