Here are the Tentative Key Dates for 2009 

Booster Day- Saturday May 30 10:00am to 1:30 pm then field activities til 2:30 

Welcome to Springdale Little League Instructional Program.

My name is Tom Duddie and I am the commissioner for the Instructional Single A and 5 Year Old Programs. We will start our season for the instructional league on Saturday May 2nd at Toquam field at 9:30 am. Please try to have your son or daughter there by 9:20 am. The way we run our program is as follows. We start by warming up and then we have groups of four or five players that will rotate to different stations. There is a station for hitting, throwing, catching ground balls, and running the bases. The players have a lot of fun and learn at the same time. Each station has to be manned by two or three adults, so all volunteers are welcome. We try to go thru the stations spending about 15 minutes at each one then we separate the players and have a one inning game. We will try to be done each week by 11 am. The following Moms and Dads have volunteered already, but we will need more. Dave Albright, Jonathan Hoch Sr, .Andy Maloney, Harry Mattioli, Lee Noonan, Sean O’Connor, Josh Smith, Mike Sullivan, Daryl Smith, David Telep, and Mike Whitman. Our Team Mom is Theresa Lowe, but she will need help also. If you would like to help and your name is not on the list, please email me and let me know. We will also have three players from the Springdale majors at each practice. We look forward to meeting all of you this Saturday May 2nd.
