SportsTech Stars: SE Champ. Series

Southeastern Championship Series
Throughout our many years of coaching we have noticed there has been one area that seems deficient in quality and organization. That being a program for ballplayers who are serious about developing their talent through playing against elite competition.
Under the current system, most players participate in local recreational leagues with limited schedules and only reach a higher level competition in a few all-star games at the end of the season. Some of the better players are able to make the roster of local travel teams that have very limited coaching, with mostly parents assuming those duties.
To give these players the best opportunity possible, a program which can incorporate a continuous schedule of games against top-rated teams played at local college fields would enhance their development by placing them in a competitive atmosphere for the entire season.
Because of the many inquiries we have received about this, we have formed the non-profit SportsTech Athletic League, Incorporated expressly for this purpose. Also, in conjunction with teams from Alabama, Tennessee, and Mississippi we have instituted a Southeastern Championship Series. The league has been organized solely for the players to give them a chance for recognition and an opportunity to display their talents in an environment created exclusively for them.
To accomplish this we will procure the local college fields for the games and set up travel arrangements for the teams from out of state. We would also like to provide each team with a supply of wooden bats to give the ballplayers an opportunity to showcase their abilities for the scouts.
We would appreciate any contributions that you could make to to help us establish this league as one of the premier venues in the Southeast for the area college recruiters and pro scouts to observe and evaluate the ballplayers. This would give them an opportunity for exposure that is not now readily available to them.
You can make contributions through league or team sponsorships,
program ads, or scholarship programs for players with need. Make your contribution to: SportsTech Athletic League, Inc.; 3655-A Hewatt Court, Snellville, Ga 30039.
We would like to thank you for this opportunity to present this project to you. May you be blessed and have “No Off Season” (2 Timothy 4:2).
