A Great Addition to Our Community
The Board of Directors believes that this will be a great addition to our community. While not a stated objective of The Community Sportsplex, we believe that the facility will provide jobs and draw visitors from outside of our area for weekend tournament activity, as well as provide a great place for our youth and families.
The community is starting to take notice that by hosting events such as the Stop DWI Basketball Tournament, the American Legion Baseball Tournament, the US Lacrosse Youth Festival, the Empire State Games, state high school championships, and other large tournaments, that our region has become a "sports destination" of sorts. Our board hopes tha The Community Sportsplex will become a vibrant part of our evolving "sports hub" here in the Southern Tier.
