BC Lacrosse Winter Practice Program
Registration is now available for Sunday practice sessions. Please refer to the "Practice Schedule" tab for a full calendar and age group practice dates. Practice sessions for all players will run from December 6-January 24. You do not have to pay Club Membership Fees in order to participate in the clinics....just the practice session registration fee (that will cover field use and instruction costs). Register for 2010 Club Tryout/Evaluation Session
Click on the button or the article headline to register for the tryout/evaluation sessions for the 2010 Club season. Player information will not be collected manually at the tryouts. You must register on line in advance. There is a nominal $10 fee for tryouts to help defray the cost of the field time. See the news page for detailed information. Note - Payments are through PayPal although you do not need a PayPal account. As of 10/18, payments by credit card outside of PayPal are being successfully processed however we are having some technical difficulties for those logging in to PayPal and trying to pay through their PayPal account. Registration Open for BC Lacrosse Girls Youth Program Second Session
The BC Lacrosse Girls Travel Club will be conducting an instructional program for girls in Grades 3-6. The program is designed to introduce new or inexperienced players to the game of girl's lacrosse and will include instruction and practice in passing, catching, cradling, dodging, shooting, defensive basics and offensive and defensive team concepts. As skills are developed, scrimmage and other game situations will be introduced. The program will consist of eight one and a half hour practices and will be conducted by Laura Ansbro, head varsity lacrosse and basketball coach at Union Endicott High School and coach of the BC Lacrosse Girls Travel Club Youth team, other members of the club coaching staff and high school club members. The program will run on Sunday afternoons from 3 to 4:30 PM at the recently opened Edge Sports Complex on Old Vestal Road in Vestal (behind The Shoppes at Vestal - formerly the So. Tier Sports Center). Session I is underway. Remaining dates as of 11/20 are 11/22, 12/6, 12/13, 12/20, 1/3, 1/10 . If you are still interested in joining Session I mid-session, please contact club manager Ed Yetsko at eyetsko@stny.rr.com. Manual registration is available with a prorated fee. Registration is open for Session II which will run on the following dates: 1/17, 1/24, 1/31, 2/7, 2/14, 2/21, 2/28, 3/7 The registration fee is $100.
