We are the Santa Clara Sporting 94 Boys (U15 for 2009-2010 Season) Class 1 Soccer Team . Our team competes year-round in CYSA and US Club Soccer League sanctioned leagues and tournaments. The team is coached by Ralf Cebrian, Don Lazzarini, Fernando Biorato and Gabe Foo. Gabe is also the team manager.
Team Philosophy - the foundation of our teams' success is based upon three simple elements: (1) attracting players and families who are passionate about soccer, (2) developing players with technical and tactical soccer skills, (3) harboring an environment where no egos and attitudes prevent players and parents from enjoying life with our soccer family. Our coaching emphasis is on developing players for long term success and short term wins.
Team Tryouts - please join us for practices so we can evaluate new players. We practice Monday and Wednesday from 7-9pm at the Santa Clara Youth Soccer Park. View the calendar for driving directions.

Sporting Team Undefeated in Last 8 Games - Heading Into Final Fall Season Stretch
The Sporting 94 Team has been on a roll the last six weeks, and has not lost a game during their last eight matches. The team defeated the Palo Alto Blue '95 Team 1-0 to win the 2008 District Cup title three weeks ago, then beat DeAnza Force 2-1 two weeks ago, and tied PAC Tigres 2-2 last Saturday during Abronzino League play. The team sits in 5th place in the Abronzino League, but is only one game back from three teams (PAC Tigres, Santa Cruz Breakers, and DeAnza Force) who are all tied for 2nd place. The Abronzino League has to be one of the toughest Fall Season schedules in Northern California with so many top team battling every weekend. Only one win seperates the Palo Alto Blue team between the three teams sitting in second place, and only two wins seperate Sporting from the Palo Alto. There are four more league games to play before the Fall Season ends; it's going to be a battle royale to see how things shake-out in District 2.
