SPOKANE SOUTH LITTLE LEAGUE

Volunteer Opportunies: SSLL is going to begin this year with changing the volunteer positions by placing them with committees. These committees will meet and decide how to accomplish activities as a group. Each committee will be overseen by a Board of Director. It may be easier to join a group of people working on a goal rather than trying to obtain the outcome individually. The list below are the committees for 2009, if you could find some time to help with one or more of the groups, please notify David Cherry president@spokanelittleleague.org or Brandy Craig volunteer@spokanelittleleague.org as soon as possible.

Registration - This committee will handle: Data Entry, Scholarships, Opening Day, Skills Evaluations, Uniforms and Distribute flyers to the schools

Rules- This committee will oversee: Pitch Count, Disputes, Waivers, the Draft and Scorekeeping, Pitch Counters and Stats

Safety - This committee will handle: Equipment, Clinics, Insurance and will hold an Equipment Exchange

Fundraising - This committee will handle: Team Sponsors, Awards, Sponsors, Concessions & Team Baskets for the Annual Auction

Communication - This committee will handle: Pictures, the SSLL Website, Marketing, Phones, Printing, Programs and Parent Orientation

Volunteering - This committee will oversee: Team Parents,the Annual Awards Banquet, End of Season BBQ and assigning volunteers to areas of need

Scheduling - This committee will handle: Fields, Umpires, Travel and the Tournaments including All Stars

Challenger - This committee will handle all things related to the Challengers and should communicate any needs to the other committees of the Spokane South Little League

Softball - This committee will handle all things related to Softball and should communicate any needs to the other committees of the Spokane South Little League
