Juniors2012 information
1.Our goal is to form teams (roster sizes permitting) based upon schoolboundaries so classmates could move from school ball directly intoJuniors together. School boundaries are based around Chase,Sacajawea, Cataldo and All-Saints. Players from other schools(example: Oaks, Freeman, City, Pacific Christian) will be placed withthe various teams or if a 5thteam needs to be formed.
2. SSLL is involved in "interleague"games with West Plains, Tri-County (Deer Park), Lake Spokane andRiverview Little Leagues. This will make our combined"interleague" league a 10-12 team league. We areshooting for 16-18 regular season games. We will play other leagueteams at least once possibly twice and SSLL teams twice, schedulepermitting.
3. Games are to be scheduled during the week - weare shooting for a Monday, Wednesday and Friday schedule, butthis may be changed due to field availability. However, ourfirst week of play will more than likely have a game scheduledon Monday, May 28. Games will start at 6:00 or 6:30.
4. Ourregular season will likely end before July 4thweekend.
5. The SSLL "home" ballparks will bethe Ferris JV field, The Hart Freshman and JV fields and possiblyComstock Park. We will try to get on the Ferris and LC varsity fieldsdepending on Legion games. Our interleague "away" gameswill be played at various high school and middle school fieldsreserved by the other Little League organizations. There will begames in Cheney, Lake Spokane, Lakeside and Central Valley.
