SPOKANE SLIDERS FASTPITCH SOFTBALL
With some of the most talented athletes in the northwest, the Spokane Sliders Fastpitch program continues to set the standard, on and off the field.
The Sliders Softball program was created in 1991 with one U-12 team composed of primarily Spokane Valley players. At the time, it was one of the most successful teams in the Spokane area but struggled outside the region. In 1995, the reins were handed over to George Lynn when the team hit the U-16 level. His philosophy of "Never settle for where you are as a player" proved to be a recipe for success. The Sliders program has become one of the most respected softball organizations in the Northwest. The U-18 team has captured the Northwest Regional title 4 straight years (2002-2005)while winning 25 straight Regional games. The 18's have also made themself a regular at 18A Nationals the last 6 out 7 years, finishing as high as 9th in 2004. In 2006 all Sliders programs received A National bids.
Our athletes start at the U-10 level with the building blocks that will continue their path to the next level. Parental support, commitment, and desire are the perfect compliment to quality coaching. Sliders softball players have earned thousands of dollars in athletic and academic scholarships to Colleges all over the country. We are proud to be a part of the lives of such outstanding young ladies.
