WELCOME TO THE SPOKANE SLIDERS GOLD-SPOKANES FIRST GOLD PROGRAM
This is the official site of the 2007 Spokane Sliders GOLD AND home to the developement programs U10-U16. The Slider program competes at every age group beginning at U-10. Our U-18 program has become one of the most competetive programs in the nation, at every level, including gold. As the players emerge in this program, they continue to be challenged, with the hopes of playing at the college level. Together, we are building future college players, one year at at time. We invite you to browse and hope that you might contact us to share Softball news and thoughts.

JOHNSON TO MIDLAND TEXAS!
Amber Johnson, lefty outfielder, has committed to Midland College in Midland Texas. Amber loved the city of Midland, the team and the coaches and looks forward to the chance to compete with one of the best JC's in the nation. Midland College not only won their conference in 08'but were also Region Champions.

COBURN HAS CHOSEN DELAWARE STATE
Amber Coburn, 09' Sliders Gold pitcher, will be heading to Dover, Delaware in the fall of 09' to join the Delaware State Hornets softball team. Del State was the MEAC conference champions last year earning the automatic bid to the NCAA tourny and finishing 29-25 overall.

ULRICH SELECTS SEATTLE UNIVERSITY
Jessica Ulrich, our hard-throwing 09' pitcher, has selected Seattle University as her new home. The Redhawks finished an amazing 38-14 last year. Jessica will be apart of the new era in Seattle U history as they will join the D1 Pacific Coast Conference in the spring of 10' and will compete against fellow Sliders Danielle and Lex who will be at PSU.

WARREN SAYS YES TO DEPAUL
Allie Warren became the first fall verbal when she said yes to Depaul University in Chicago. Allie loved the "big city" feel and is thrilled to have the opportunity to play for the Blue Demons, who compete in the Big East conference and finished 51-18 in 2008.

THE END OF AN ERA......
Nine years ago a group of 10 and 11 year old girls came together to become the first U12 Sliders team. The last 3, who played EVERY summer game together for 9 years, said good-bye this August. Spending time on Saturday sharing memories of the great times they have shared together and how thankful they are to be softball sisters forever!

MORALES SAYS YES TO PSU~
Alexa Morales joined the Portland State family with a verble to Head Coach Amy Hayes. Lex narrowed down her choices and went with PSU because of the location and the great coaching staff! PSU is a D-1 school that competes in the Pacific Coast Softball Conference. She will join the Viking squad in the fall of 09' and joins team mate Danielle Lynn in the Viks family.

ALLRED TO CLEVELAND STATE
Afton Allred will join the Cleveland State softball team in the fall of 09' joining her older sister Kala. Afton is exited to have the chance to shine at the D1 level. CSU competes in the Horizon league where they went 14-4 in conference and an impressive 31-18 overall.
