Neckguard Rule
All participants in the Spinnakers program are required to wear unmodified neckguards during all practices and games. Our neckguard rule exceeds the equipment requirements of USA Hockey.
Commitment
The Spinnakers program is committed to excellence in hockey, to offering a high school hockey experience second to none. We require our participants to help us fulfill this ambition by making a full commitment to the Stamford Spinnakers.
The exclusive hockey commitment requirement, adopted in our third season, has permitted us to play a busy schedule and participate in tournaments with our whole team, rather than hearing that some of our best skaters had to play for their "more important" teams. For morale and quality of play, it was the best policy change we ever made.
We are determined to be a team of girls who give each other an extraordinary commitment.
