Let's Go Eat at McDonald's!!
Sounds like a good idea...and it is, on occasion. But, before an important practice or tournament game, eating the wrong foods can severely impact your performance - and not in a good way. So, on those days, make sure you're putting the best possible fuel into that engine we call a young athletic body, and do it at the right times. Attached is a handout with some very good nutritional guidelines for you. When you eat well, you'll feel well, and that will help you play well! Good nutrition is truly one of the keys to any athlete's success!
