The Maui Summer Classic Youth Basketball Tournament is comprised of a Youth Division and a High School Division. The Youth division includes boys' and girls' 6th, 7th, and 8th grades. The High School Division includes 9th grade, Junior Varsity and High School Varsity for both boys and girls. The Divisions are determined by the current grade at the time of the tournament not the grade they will be in the fall of 2005. Graduating High School seniors are eligible to participate for College recruiting purposes. Teams can be either Youth Club teams, AAU teams, Select Teams or High School teams.
Tournament Sanction and comprehensive sports insurance will again be provided by the National Youth Sports Organization USSSA. The Maui Summer Classic Youth and High School Tournament will again be organized by Michael Bradley's On The Ball Youth Basketball organization and the County of Maui Parks. "On the Ball Youth Basketball" has been involved in providing many successful Youth and High School basketball events for the past 16 years.
