Starkville Inline Hockey League
The league is open to any person over the age of 15, male or female. Knowledge of in-line or ice-skating is obviously encouraged, although not required. Equally, knowledge of the sport of Hockey is encouraged, but not required. Initially the league hopes to develop the quality of play by encouraging novices and veterans to play together.
We hope that in the future, adjoining cities and areas will either organize their own leagues, or will make the effort to join ours. In either scenario the SIHL will benefit from more players and teams involved. The league anticipates that this exposure will bring a steady flow of new comers to the sport, which will provide more revenue to the league and the rink, allowing for greater and quicker expansion.
