Sparks Little League is offering a baseball program for boys and girls

(league age 5 to 12) living in the City of Sparks
and the Spanish Springs area of Washoe County

Fees:
$100 For Major and Minor players –league age 9, 10, 11, and 12

$80 For Farm players –league age 7 and 8

$70 For Tee-Ball players –league age 5 and 6

$65 For each additional player in same family

*** League age is the age of the player on 4/30/2010

Sign-ups: 1/16 Sat 10am-2pm Ace Hardware Store on Baring Blvd.

1/27 Wed 6-9pm Spanish Springs Elementary on Marilyn Mae Dr.

1/30 Sat 10am-2pm Ace Hardware Store on Baring Blvd.

2/2 Tue 6-8pm Alf Sorensen Community Center on Baring Blvd

2/6 Sat 10am-2pm Ace Hardware Store on Baring Blvd

2/10 Wed 6-9pm Alf Sorensen Community Center on Baring Blvd

2/13 Sat 10am-2pm Ace Hardware Store on Baring Blvd

2/17 Wed 6-9pm Spanish Springs Library on Pyramid Hwy

*** Bring player’s birth certificate and 3 proofs of residence (utility bill, driver’s      license, financial record-check, etc.) to show at sign-up

“Don’t wait to sign-up!” A $10 late fee applies after 2/10

Try-outs:
2/20 Sat Little League Fields at Golden Eagle Regional Park on Vista Blvd

Major and Minor players –league age 9, 10, 11, and 12 and not on a Major teamfrom last season must try-out –see check-in time below:

     Players –league age 11 and 12 check-in 9am try-out 9:30am

     Players –league age 10 check-in 10:30am try-out 11am

     Players –league age 9 check-in 12:30pm try-out 1pm

League Board Volunteers will be at sign-ups to answer questions

Volunteers are needed for many different positions: Umpires (umpire clinics on 2/19, 2/20, or 2/21),

Fundraising, Snack Bar, and Field Maintenance. Please see a Board Member to get involved.

  Sparks Little League Service Area Sparks Little League serves the City of Sparks and the Spanish Springs area of Washoe County with two leagues: Sparks National Little League; and, Sparks Centennial Little League. Sparks National Little League serves neighborhoods within the City of Sparks and the Spanish Springs area of Washoe County that are: West of Sparks Blvd; West of Pyramid Hwy; and, East of Pyramid Hwy, North of La Posada Dr. Sparks Centennial Little League serves neighborhoods within the City of Sparks and the Spanish Springs area of Washoe County that are: East of Sparks Blvd; and, East of Pyramid Hwy, South of La Posada Dr.
