South Florida Summer League ran by Coach Van

This year the South Florida Summer League runs on four Sundays over the summer  (6/6, 6/20, 7/18 and 7/25) and we are offering two hours worth of games on each Sunday we are holding games.  We are also organizing a similar summer program for middle school age players.  We are also putting together a Summer travel program which will take 2014s and 2013s to the Gatorfest up in MD and also the All Star Express in NY for 2014s through 2011s.  Practices for the summer travel program will occur two to three times per week.  If you are interested in getting more information or would like to partner with us to organize or coach on that, please let me know.  

It would improve the overall skill level of the players in South Florida if we as coaches worked together to bring players from all over south Florida to participate in some sort of league or tournament in the same way that the Orlando teams do.   There is a huge gap between the Orlando teams and the teams in South Florida and from my experience this year it is growing.  If you are putting on an event over the summer, please let me know.

Lax Maniax Tryouts are SUNDAY, April 11th from 12:30pm-2pm (High School) and 2:30pm-4pm (Middle School) in Boca.  Field Location will be announced shortly!  This year is the 5th year for the Lax Maniax Elite program and it will be the best year!

Florida Elite Lacrosse

FLORIDA ELITE LACROSSE

Is ready to start their spring/summer season!!

We will be offering Boys U15, Boys U17, Boys U19 &

Girls Middle School & Girls High School Teams

Tryouts are Sunday, April 18th

10:00 (be there at 9:30 to register)

@ Delray Soccer/Lacrosse Complex off Seacrest

There is NO fee to tryout…just bring a reversible.

Florida Elite will have practices 2 times per week from the end of April until the end of June. Practices will be at Pope John Paul II HS & Delray Soccer Complex.

We will play several local head to head games against other select lacrosse teams, play in 2 local tournaments and travel to South Carolina for the Catawba Classic.

The cost for the spring/summer season is $475.00 – which includes the all new Florida Elite uniform, shorts, shooting shirt & all tournament fees.
