U18 Fuze left last Thursday January 16th to play at the The 2009 SCVA Junior Boys Invitational. They will start Friday at 2pm.

Matthew West get invitation to USA Volleyball High Performance Youth National Team Holiday Camp. This is a very high honor and the Spaceneedle Volleyball Foundation are proud to see our Boys Team members continue to follow their dreams.
Spaceneedle Volleyball Player was part of the Inaugural 2008 High Performance International Select Team in Tuscon, Arizona. Matthew did very well in the tournament and played Opposite and Setter for coaches Charlie Sullivan and Ken Shibuya. Matthew has been apart of the HP program for 2 years. Coach Sullivan said, " Matthew is a important part of the HP program and the future success of Volleyball in the Pacific Northwest".

Dear Matthew
As you know, the success of our sport at the 2008 Beijing Olympics far surpassed that of any previous summer Olympics. The Men’s USA National Team won the Gold Medal for the first time in 20 years; and the Women’s USA National Team won the Silver Medal for the first time in 24 years. With the two beach Gold Medals and the Paralympic Silver Medal - - our success was unprecedented.
And as you know, our job here in the High Performance Program is to help you become a part of this historic program. I think we got that covered!
As a member of the
· USA Boys’ 2008 Select A1 program (select invitations) - -
you are invited to participate in the 2008 Boys’ Youth National Holiday Camp, to be held here on the grounds of the Olympic Training Center, December 26th – December 30th. .
Please note that not all Select A1 players are receiving this email during first go-round (you are). Hopefully, we will be able to fit all A2 players in this camp, but the priority is Boys’ Youth Team and select A2 players.
