Welcome!!!

CONGRATS! SW Lakers Peewee B take 2nd in Chicago Big Bear Classic! Win the 2005-06 SWHA Team Sportsmanship Award! Finish 22-11-2!
This Laker team did just about everything this year. Winning a tournament, going to Minnesota State Regional Tournament, winning the Southwest Hockey Association Team Sportsmanship Award.

The Lakers concluded their year in Chicago with the Big Bear Classic. The Lakers tied Peewee A team, Cedar Rapids, and then went on to take down Kirkwood, Missouri 4-2 and the Arctic Flyers 13-0. In the championship game against the same Cedar Rapids Peewee A team, the Lakers fought hard and ended regulation tied 1-1. In the second sudden death overtime, playing 3 on 3, the Lakers were dispatched by a nifty move and backhand by the Cedar Rapids player.

Hardware obtained by this team, arguably one of the best teams from Southwest Hockey in the last decade, include:
*   2nd Place - Southwest Tournament
*  1st Place - Rochester Tournament
*  3rd Place - Faribault Tournament
*  2nd Place - Twin Cities District Tournament
*  2nd Place - Big Bear Tournament - Chicago
*  SWHA Team Sportsmanship Award

Nice Job Lakers!

Lakers Finish 2005 With a 10-4-1 Record

Lakers conclude 2005 games with a 10-4-1 record, a second place, and a Championship. Strong play has been shown by forwards Gabe MacDonald, Ty Erickson, Jon Mart, Juan Lala, Newt Fuller, Jack Kelly, Jack Riester, Gabe Reese, and Jay Graziger.

On the Blueline, Charlie Shepard, Luke Norgaard, Sam Dudovitz, C.C. Hardacker, Rolf Bergford, and Nick Hacker continue to keep opponents away from our net.

When they do make it to our net, Aaron Nesheim and Anders Jecha have refused to give up goals.
