Southtowns Volleyball Club of Western New York
Welcome to the Southtowns Volleyball Club website
No Practice Wednesday 1/30 due to a conflict at HMS.
Check this site often for updates about tryouts, tournament schedule and fees.
Southtowns Volleyball is associated with the Western Empire Volleyball Association (WEVA); an affiliate of the U.S.A. Junior Olympic Volleyball Association.
Tryouts:
Southtowns VBC Tryouts will be held Sunday 11/18 and Sunday 12/2
Registration:
Go to http://www.wevavolleyball.org/ to register on line. Club affililiation is "Southtowns" in the drop down box with club affiliation. Do not pay WEVA directly. You can make out a $60 check to Southtowns VBC and bring it Sunday. We will send one check for our entire group.
Please make sure to have your:
1. Release of Liability Waiver
2. Your Medical History Form
An electronic signature is required for this. Your parents will be required to enter their NYS drivers license ID number as an e-signature for the Release of Liability form as you apply.
**Without these two forms, you will not be allowed to tryout.**
There are two icons at the end of the registration process to allow you to print these forms.

Check the website www.edenvbc.com/ and your emails for additional information about the tournament & your teams location.

A block of rooms will be reserved for those interested for both 1/18 and 1/19. Additional information to follow.

We are working on setting up a Hamburg tournament in February. More information will follow.
- A block of rooms will be reserved at the Comfort Inn & Suites in State College. More Information to follow.
- Locations have not yet been announced for this tournament. Rooms will be reserved pending announcement of locations. More infoformation to follow.
- Hotel assignments are not yet available. If you are interested in flying to Richmond, flights are available on Southwest Airlines for $77 each way to Baltimore.
- Only a team that is ready for Nationals will go to Nationals. We will make this determination as the season progresses if we get a bid to Nationals. More information can be found on the www.usavolleyball.org website.
Accomodations:
Please book your rooms as soon as possible after available. You must ask for the block under Southtowns Volleyball Club. The hotels will only hold these rooms for so long. If you don't reserve your room and lose your reservation, you may have to stay in a different hotel and costs could be higher.
USA High Performance Tryouts

Tryouts this year are in Rochester at McQuaid HS on January 18th (this is the night before the Can-Am tournament)

This will qualify you for a POSSIBLE SUMMER CAMP WITH ELITE COACHES.

The cost to register online is $65. Walk up tryouts is $100.00. The tryout was SOLD OUT LAST YEAR.
