Congratulations to Former STJ Players

Laura Rodriguez (Libero) attends the University of Hawaii at Hilo.  The Vulcans clinched their Pacific West Conference Championship.  Laura played with STJ for 6 seasons and was a starting varsity player at Hanna High School in Brownsville since her freshman year.  She was awarded MVP of the year ('06).  She played with UTB/TSC her freshman year and has transferred to U of H @ Hilo.  As a sophomore Laura Rodriguez leads the conference in digs and is 3rd in service aces.

Vee Vee Lozano (soph.) and Jenissa Arambide (fresh.) both attend UT Brownsville.  The lady scorpions are ranked 18th in the NAIA Division I National Volleyball Polls and are the Red River Athletic Conference South Zone Champions. 

 

Vee Vee (Libero)played with STJ for 4 seasons and was the libero at Hanna High School.  As a senior Vee Vee was Libero of the year ('06).  She is a sophomore and is currently the libero for the Lady Scorpions.

Jenissa (MB) played with STJ for 4 seasons.  Jenissa at 6'1" was a varsity player on the Donna High School varsity team since her freshman year.  Jen graduated in 2007 and has shown great strength as an incoming freshman for the UTB Lady Scorpions.
