The South Stars proudly represent many of the south and west side Indianapolis area high schools! Our home ice is the "Perry Park Ice Rink". We invite fans from our affiliated schools and from the surrounding areas to our games. Monday, March 25
Pre-season Skates
PLEASE NOTE THE TIME AND DATE CHANGES Pre-season skates, tryouts, and August/September practices are currently scheduled at the Forum @ Fishers. The Forum is located at 9022 East 126th St., Fishers Indiana 46038 Pre-season Skates- (All players new to the South Stars need to submit a copy of their current USA Hockey registration prior to participating in the pre-season skates. Current USA Hockey registrations are good until 8/31/13.) Thursday May 16th 7:45pm-8:55pm Thursday May 23rd 8:00pm-9:15pm Wednesday June 5th 8:20pm-9:35pm Thursday June 20th 8:00pm-9:15pm Thursday July 11th 8:00pm-9:15pm Tryout dates: Session 1- Saturday July 20th 1:30pm-3:00pm (All new players to the South Stars and invited returning players) Session 2- Saturday July 20th 5:30pm-7:00pm (All returning South Star players and players invited by head coaches) Session 3- Sunday July 21st 1:30pm-3:00pm (All players should attend) Regular season practices will begin on August 20th.

Mailing Address Change
Hello Everyone The South Stars has been forced to change our mailing address, due to the closing down of the company where we maintained our mail box. Effective immediately, our new mailing address is: South Stars High School Hockey 8063 Madison Avenue PMB 323 Indianapolis, IN 46227 Our old address will still be functioning through this Friday, 8/31 and I will continue to check the box frequently up to and including that day. I have also submitted a change of address with the U.S. Postal Service, so any mail you have sent that is still in route will be re-routed to our new address. Please feel free to forward this message on to anyone you may deem appropriate, including sponsors, etc. Monday, April 23
Health and Safety Changes
This year the state is requiring all participating athletes to be given and acknowledge receipt of concusion education. We did this last year, but this year it's required before any athlete takes the ice. All players attnding any South Star skate must have a completed form on file. The concussion information and forms will be available online in the near future. The South Stars are requiring that all players have a sports physical on file this season. This must be completed before practices begin.
