Southside Soccer Club serving recreational co-ed youth in the Pittsylvania, Halifax, Henry, Caswell Counties as well as Danville and surrounding area. We currently play on fields located at the Blairs Community Center and Southside Elementary School in Blairs, VA. We are sanctioned by Virginia Youth Soccer Association, VYSA, who provides supplemental medical insurance and liabilty insurance for all players, coaches and referees in our league.

Fall Season 2009 Registrations Begin
Southside Soccer Club is now accepting registrations for the Fall 2009 season. Cost is $30.00 per player. Forms are available on line and at All Star Sports, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Deercreek Grocery, Kentuck Grocery, and New Earth Skateshop. You can leave your registration and payment at All Star Sports for us to pick up. Players from the last season will receive a registration form in the mail. Please be sure that you see our logo on anything you receive about soccer. This is the only way to insure you are registering with Southside Soccer Club. FC Southside Soccer Club is not affiliated with Southside Soccer Club in any way. Southside Soccer Club is the original soccer club in Pittsylvania County.
PLEASE SIGN UP AND REGISTER EARLY!!!!! Waiting to the last minute causes a lot of confusion for the club and coaches.
Important Dates to Remember-
**September 5, 2009 is the cut off date for registrations. Anything after that date will be considered late and a $10.00 late fee will be assessed. This is also the date for returning players to be signed up by so they can return to their teams.
**Season will begin on 9/19/09.

Southside Soccer Club all star teams did extremely well at the Virginia Soccer Festival held in Hanover Co on 6/13 & 6/14 & hosted by Dynamo Soccer Club.
SSC placed 6 teams as follows:

If you have cleats or shinguards that your children have outgrown and they are still in useable condition, consider donating them to the SSC Cleat and Shinguard bank. Children outgrow clothes so quickly and this a good way to provide for our up and coming soccer players.
