Southside Soccer Club serving recreational co-ed youth in the Pittsylvania, Halifax, Henry, Caswell Counties as well as Danville and surrounding area. We currently play on fields located at the Blairs Community Center and Southside Elementary School in Blairs, VA. We are sanctioned by Virginia Youth Soccer Association, VYSA, who provides supplemental medical insurance and liabilty insurance for all players, coaches and referees in our league.

Averett University Soccer Camp June 4-8 and 11-15
SSC has partnered with Averett University for our 2012 Summer Camp. SSC club members can sign up and get a 20% discount off the published prices of the camp. If you are interested in finding out more about the camps, please click on the link.
In order to obtain the 20% discount from SSC, you must have been a registerd player in Fall 2011 and/or Spring 2012 at SSC and register by May 25 with SSC. Checks should be made payable to Southside Soccer Club and the club will submit all the registrations and payment to Averett University. Registration and proper payment must be received at SSC by May 25 in order to be eligible for the discount.
A limited number of partial/full scholarships may be available depending on total enrollment through SSC.

SSC U14 Boys All-Start Can-Am Champs
Southside Soccer Club's U14 boys all star team attended the Can-Am
Soccer Cup in Myrtle Beach SC on 3/2-4/12 and won the championship in their
division. They were placed into the travel division of the tournament. They
beat South Carolina 4-1 and West Virginia 8-0. They were to face CASL from
North Carolina on Sunday but the tournament was rained out. This team has not
lost a match in two years of tournament play. This team is also the current
reigning champions of the Virginia Soccer Festival in Richmond Va. Team l-r

If you have cleats or shinguards that your children have outgrown and they are still in useable condition, consider donating them to the SSC Cleat and Shinguard bank. Children outgrow clothes so quickly and this a good way to provide for our up and coming soccer players.
