South Shore Volleyball Club: Info
General Club Information-2009/2010
The South Shore Volleyball Club is currently in its 14th year of operation.
The club practices at Audubon Middle School and possible other south side sights if we have additional teams.
Practices for the teams will be on Wednesdays or Thursdays and on late Sunday afternoons or early Sunday evenings. Practices are 1 1/2-2 hours each. Practices start in late November or early December for the teams and end in April.
All tournaments are 1 day tournaments on weekends within 1 to 2 hours from Milwaukee (Germantown, Waukesha, Kenosha, etc.).
In addition to these tournaments, the teams will decide whether or not they would like to attend the Minneapolis tournament in April.
We have met our estimated costs each year of our existence.
Compare clubs to make sure the club you are considering is right for you. Some clubs do a lot of traveling or practice 3-4 times per week. Remember, the more you travel, the more it costs. Some clubs emphasize winning at all costs and are more intense. There is nothing wrong with these clubs if that is what you need or want. Make sure that the club fits your needs though. South Shore is not the right club for everyone nor are the other clubs. Each club is unique in the way they are run.

Fund Raising-2009/2010
To help you pay for club costs, players may do fund raising. South Shore will sell Mr. Z's items in November & December.
Delivery of these items will be in December. The date has not been finalized yet.
Players get a percentage for each one of these that they sell.
