SOUTHSHORE LITTLE LEAGUE 2010

SSLL tryouts for Major and Minor baseball divisions, and for Major Softball will be on Sunday, January 31, 2010 and Sunday, February 7, 2010 at Redbud Park in Clearlake. On 1/31, the baseball tryouts will be from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., and softball tryouts will be 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. On 2/7, the softball tryouts will be from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., and baseball tryouts will be 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. Please wear cleats and bring your glove. Your child must attend one of these tryouts. We will also be taking late registrations during these times. You must show proof of residency and bring your child's birth certificate.

Tryouts for Junior division baseball & softball will be held on Sunday, February 21, 2010 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Redbud Park. Please wear cleats and bring your glove.

Clearlake Oaks Moose Lodge is hosting a benefit dinner for SSLL on Saturday, February 20, 2010 at 5 p.m. Bring your family and come enjoy a Carnitas dinner/Mexican buffet. Tickets are $10 for adults and children over 11; $5.00 for children 10 and under; and FREE for children under 5. REMINDER TO ALL VOLUNTEERS

Prior to participation, all volunteers must fill out completely a volunteer form and then submit it to the league President.  Once submitted AND approved, you will then be cleared to participate within our league.  All cleared volunteers shall always wear a volunteer lanyard, which will be provided when you are cleared through Choice Point background investigation.

Donate new or used mits, cleats or helmets to those less fortunate.  You may drop off items during any game or contact a board member.
