Opening of the 2012 season
Dear SRLL community,
This year to kick off the little league baseball season, North and south Riverdale Little Leagues will march together in the Riverdale Little League Parade. The Parade will be Saturday morning March 31st, Details will follow soon. We hope that all our parents and players will come out and march together to kick off the 2012 season.
In the next 2 weeks you will be hearing from your coaches and division commissioners about your teams, uniforms and practices. In addition, this year some divisions will have inter league play between North and South Riverdale.
As we approach the season, Schedules and other details will be posted on the website.
Peewee and T-Ball will always play on Saturday mornings from 8:30 -10:30. Their days will always start with a group warm up and skills session with coach Tommy Gonzalez. Then they will break up into games. The first Peewee and T ball games will be Saturday April 7,
The upper divisions; Minors, Majors, Softball and Seniors will all start their season on March 31st after the parade. 



T Ball and PW Information
The T Ball and PW program meets every Saturday between 8:30am and 10:30am at Seton Park. Each weekend after the teams assemble there will be a group meeting at the center of the park. The Commissioner of the T Ball and PW Divisions will lead the players in stretching and the introduction of a new skill. The teams will then break up and go to the field they are assigned for the day to practice until 9:10am. At that time the field should be set up by the coaches for a game to be concluded at 10:30am. The game rules can be found in the Local Rules for the respective divsions. Please consult your team schedule for the field assignments. The schedules on the web site can be printed to hard copy.

Rain Out Information
If the weather is such that the fields are unplayable or present a danger to the players, games will be cancelled. When possible, cancellations will be posted as the lead note on the home page. Coaches should check the web site before heading out to the fields if the weather is prohibitive. If the information is not posted on the home page please contact your division commissioner.

Tips On How To Use Our Web Site

In order to gain access to the members' only sections of the web site you must log in using your assigned user name and password.  The first time a new member requests acccess it must be approved by the web master before you can utilize the restricted areas.  You need to wait for approval so please be patient.  If you do not receive an e mail advising you have been approved please send us an e mail and we will arrange for access.  If you do not have a user name and password please send us an e mail and we will resend the information.  Team Page Web Masters must also wait for approval before being able to access the administration section of their homepage.
