All divisions play games on Saturdays.  Minor through senior divisions (baseball and softball) play late afternoon games during the week as well.  Days and times vary by divisions.  We cannot determine specifics by divisions until we have completed registration and know how many teams we need to accommodate.  Please bear with us!

T-Ball (for girls and boys): this is open to 4-5 year olds and first time 6 year olds. T-ball is loosely structured and not appropriate for any children who already have any significant baseball experience. No score is kept; there are no outs and each child bats every time the team is up. ($130)

Pee-Wee (for girls and boys): this is open to 6 year olds, first time 7 year olds and 8 year olds who are not yet ready for kid-pitch baseball. In Pee-Wee there is a friendly adult pitching. No score is kept, but the children play regular baseball. ($130)

Minor League (for girls and boys): this is open to 7-10 year olds.  A 7 year old may be admitted on a case-by-case basis. The kids pitch and play a competitive game with an emphasis on skills acquisition. Wins and losses are recorded. There will be playoffs at the end of the season. ($135)

Softball Minors (for girls only): this is open to girls from 7-10.  Coach pitch/machine pitch and play a competitive game with an emphasis on skills acquisition. Wins and losses are recorded. There will be playoffs at the end of the season.($135)

Softball Majors (girls only): this is open to girls from 11-14 years. The kids pitch and play a competitive game with an emphasis on skills acquisition. Wins and losses are recorded. There will be playoffs at the end of the season. ($135)

Major League (for girls and boys): this is open to 10-13 year olds. The kids pitch and play a competitive game with an emphasis on skills acquisition. The level of play is generally much higher than that in the Minors.   13 year olds who are not ready for the big field (seniors) can stay in the majors, but will not be allowed to pitch. Wins and losses are recorded. There will be playoffs at the end of the season. ($145)

Senior League (for girls and boys): this is open to 13-16 year olds. The kids pitch and play a competitive game with an emphasis on skills acquisition.  Sixteen year olds are not permitted to pitch.  Wins and losses are recorded. There will be playoffs at the end of the season. ($145)

*ASSESSMENTS  are required for all Softball and Minors, Majors, and Seniors Baseball.  We will be in touch once you we you have registered. If you have already registered online and missed the scheduled assessment days, we will be in touch as well.  The purpose of the assessment is to evaluate the skill level of your child for his or her safety and make the teams as equal as possible.  All registered players will be assigned to a team and play.

T Ball and PW Information

The T Ball and PW program meets every Saturday between 8:30am and 10:30am at Seton Park. Each weekend after the teams assemble there will be a group meeting at the center of the park. The Commissioner of the T Ball and PW Divisions will lead the players in stretching and the introduction of a new skill. The teams will then break up and go to the field they are assigned for the day to practice until 9:10am. At that time the field should be set up by the coaches for a game to be concluded at 10:30am. The game rules can be found in the Local Rules for the respective divsions. Please consult your team schedule for the field assignments. The schedules on the web site can be printed to hard copy.

South Riverdale Little League is a 501c3 Organization, which prides itself in providing recreational little league opportunities for all eligible boys and girls of Riverdale and it's surrounding communities. The goal at SRLL is to provide an encouraging environment and enhance the skill set of the players as they develop through the games of baseball and softball.

Our parents bare much of the financial burden for supporting their children in these endeavors. Through your generous contribution, the league will be publically supported to provide the proper equipment, uniforms, league/umpire/tournament fees, and additional team expenses.

We thank you in advance for your consideration and time. We will gladly provide donation letters with the tax ID information upon request.

Any contribution you provide will help make the SRLL 2015 experience an even more positive and memorable one for each player!

Please feel free to contact us with any questions.

Regards,

Peter Gauss
