You can click here to check your child's official Little League Play Age:

http://www.littleleague.org/leagueofficers/determine_league_age/league_age_calculator.htm

T-Ball (for girls and boys): this is open to 4-5 year olds and first time 6 year olds. T-ball is loosely structured and not appropriate for any children who already have any significant baseball experience. No score is kept; there are no outs and each child bats every time the team is up. ($150)

Pee-Wee (for girls and boys): this is open to 5 and 6 year olds,  and first time 7 year olds. In Pee-Wee there is a friendly adult pitching. No score is kept, but the children play regular baseball. ($150)

Minor League (for girls and boys): this is open to 7-9 year olds.  The kids pitch and play a competitive game with an emphasis on skills acquisition. Games are played on Saturdays and one weekday evening (sometimes there are two if makeup games are necessary).  Practice schedules are determined by coaches. Wins and losses are recorded. There will be playoffs at the end of the season. ($150)

Softball Minors (for girls only): this is open to girls from 7-9.  Kids pitch and play a competitive game with an emphasis on skills acquisition. Games are played on Saturdays and one weekday evening (sometimes there are two if makeup games are necessary).  Practice schedules are determined by coaches. Wins and losses are recorded. There will be playoffs at the end of the season.($150)

Major League (for girls and boys): this is open to 10-13 year olds. The kids pitch and play a competitive game with an emphasis on skills acquisition. The level of play is generally much higher than that in the Minors.  13 year olds who are not ready for the big field (seniors) can stay in the majors, but will not be allowed to pitch. Games are played on Saturdays and one weekday evening (sometimes there are two if makeup games are necessary).  Practice schedules are determined by coaches. Wins and losses are recorded. There will be playoffs at the end of the season. ($150)

Senior League (for girls and boys): this is open to 13-16 year olds. The kids pitch and play a competitive game with an emphasis on skills acquisition.  Games are played on Saturdays and one weekday evening (sometimes there are two if makeup games are necessary).  Practice schedules are determined by coaches. Wins and losses are recorded. South Riverdale Little League is a 501c3 Organization, which prides itself in providing recreational little league opportunities for all eligible boys and girls of Riverdale and it's surrounding communities. The goal at SRLL is to provide an encouraging environment and enhance the skill set of the players as they develop through the games of baseball and softball.

Our parents bare much of the financial burden for supporting their children in these endeavors. Through your generous contribution, the league will be publically supported to provide the proper equipment, uniforms, league/umpire/tournament fees, and additional team expenses.

We thank you in advance for your consideration and time. We will gladly provide donation letters with the tax ID information upon request.

Any contribution you provide will help make the SRLL 2017 experience an even more positive and memorable one for each player!

Please feel free to contact us with any questions.

Regards,

Peter Gauss and Pat Kenny
Co-Presidents, South Riverdale Little League
