Thank You Texas Holdem' Players
SPLL hosted a Texas Holdem' tournament at Harpo Lanes last Thursday, November 19th through Sunday, November 22nd. Attendance was not what we had hoped for but we do appreciate those who helped out and those who came out to play.
All proceeds from this event will go toward the SPLL Training Facility.
A special thank you to Joni Shore for all her hard work putting this together and working at the tournament.

JOHN KOUNELIS - Community Hero
In August SoupRHero Restaurant located on the corner of Oakland and Centre acknowledged John Kounelis for his long term dedication to South Portage Little League. This honorable mention started with the South Portage Family Fun Day fundraiser in June. John Kounelis has been a part of South Portage for many years and we are so appreciative for all he does. Thank you John and thank to SuperRHero Restaurant for taking notice of those in our community who do so much.

Every effort will be made to update this website with current weather information. So please check this website one last time before heading out to the fields when the weather is questionable.
1) All games will be postponed when Tornado Warnings or Severe Thunderstorm Warnings are in effect for our area during a scheduled game time. Also, the field director on duty will postpone games when lightning is in the area.
2) The League will attempt to make a decision by 4:00 PM on weekdays. If the weather turns bad after 4:00 PM, decisions about game postponement will be made at the fields at game time.
3) Interleague games scheduled at non-SPLL fields will be postponed according to that host field's policies. Managers will be contacted directly by the host league in these cases.
4) ONLY the SPLL President, Vice-President or Properties Director will determine if field conditions warrant game postponement.

Volunteer Application Form
Little League requires all volunteers who work closely with children to fill out a volunteer application form. This includes Managers and Coaches! The link takes you to the document provided by Little League for this purpose. An SPLL board member will use this form to run a background check through local authorities.
