Team MANAGERS are responsible for contacting SPLL (or designating ONE parent usually the Team Parent) to find out the status of their game and communicate this back to each team member. Please make sure your manager knows the best way to reach you on game day to inform you of any changes. If everyone tries to contact SPLL themselves then the line will be tied up and overloaded nobody will be able to get through.

Every effort will be made to update this website with current weather information. So please check this website one last time before heading out to the fields when the weather is questionable.

1) All games will be postponed when Tornado Warnings or Severe Thunderstorm Warnings are in effect for our area during a scheduled game time. Also, the field director on duty will postpone games when lightning is in the area.

2) The League will attempt to make a decision by 4:00 PM on weekdays. If the weather turns bad after 4:00 PM, decisions about game postponement will be made at the fields at game time.

3) Interleague games scheduled at non-SPLL fields will be postponed according to that host field's policies. Managers will be contacted directly by the host league in these cases.

4) ONLY the SPLL President, Vice-President or Properties Director will determine if field conditions warrant game postponement.
