SPLL Training Committee
SPLL has created the Training and & Skills web page to be a resource for the members to access training opportunities and provide links and resources for self-directed training.
We have a big year planned in 2009, we hope to run several clinics to help "train our trainers", the coaches, in the proper fundamentals of how to teach baseball at all levels of the league. We plan to give them ideas and tips on how to run drills that maximize player involvement with a focus on FUN and skill development.
SPLL has always been a league focused on helping the kids improve their skill while enjoying the great game of baseball. As a league we will try to provide our coaches training so they can better train the kids. In addition, there are many off-season opportunities for kids to develop their baseball skills outside the league, and we hope to provide links to some of those resources in the coming months. Please take advantage of the opportunities for your child's development, baseball is a game of repetition and practice...and fun.
Please check back during the off-season as we build out this page and advertise our upcoming clinics and skills festivals.
