Incumbent 2009 American League Managers have first pick until September 1, 2009.  Please see Tryout Dates for this Fall, American League Managers should attend to see players who do not get drafted by the Majors.

2009 SPLL National League Champions - Padres!

The Championship game was held Thursday night between the Diamondbacks and Padres, it was an exciting game that came down to the last batter...great effort by both teams, with the Padres winning 5-4.

Congratulations to the 10A all-star team for coming in second in the District 9 Fund Raising for the Jimmy Fund.  Thank you to all the coaches, players, parents and volunteers for making it happen.  Sometimes its about more than baseball.

The SPLL is seeking a member volunteer to assist in managing the League's finances.  We currently have a bookeeper and treasuer, but need a qualified professional to consult in financial oversight.  Candidates should forward their interest to Joe O'Brien at spllpresident@comcast.net.
